At 02:11, you see a conceptual problem with this robot: With one “hand” holding a bar, it can’t hang on with that “hand” any more to the infrastructure. At that point, the robot is very limited in it’s movement possibilities. E.g. it’s impossibe to move a bar from one side of the infra structure to a joint on the oposite side.
Really cool, hope they continue development, I can see several applications for this (self building satellites anyone?).
