Listen to your iPhone loud and clear with this vintage WWII era air raid siren conversion. Austin’s Chase and Scout preserved the speaker’s industrial vibe while updating it for modern playback. You can connect pretty much anything with a standard 1/8″ headphone jack to the recessed amplifier and 6″ powered speaker for a unique listening experience.

Perfect for listening to “You Dropped a Bomb On Me”…
Can it play “Bomb Bomb Bomb – Bomb Bomb Iran”?
Seriously though, doesn’t look like it offers much stereo separation. Very cool piece.
Where do you and or how do you find a WWII Speaker like that, that works? How expensive are they and how cheep can you get one? Do you have any information on that?
Oh hey maybe someone can MAKE there own WWII Speaker? Do you have any information, diagrams, pictures, and things to show how to build one of your own?
May Tin cans, or something just as Easy to make one?
Anyone have any thoughts on that?
I thought this was a great way to re-use a cool antique and thought it might inspire folks to do the same. You could definitely make your own replica using tin cans or other materials. I’d suggest trying that and documenting it in Make: Projects. If you do, let me know and I’ll do a follow-up.
