Exposed film is not safe for viewing the eclipse. If you like your eyes, there are many DIY and commercial options, but exposed film is not one of them. Editors: i recommend you remove that one drom the list.

  2. Hey, on the water thing – the small text on the ticket said they wouldn’t let any ‘bottles’ in. Are they letting water in? Because I’d love to bring my water bottle, but not if it’ll get confiscated or get me turned away.

  3. Duplicate comment detected; it looks as though you’ve already said that!

  4. Hi Lauren, I recently just won tickets to the Maker Faire and I was wanted to ask if I could use your photo on my blog about the Maker Faire? If I could is their a specific place you would like it to link back too? Here at your Post? I was writing about how my Family and I were planning out our Day at Maker Faire. Hope all is Well

Wait. You say bring water yet, on the tickets it says no food or bottles are allowed.

    Which is it?

  6. No food or snacks. So, lots of cash. A bottle of water and lunch will be $9-$20.

And don’t count on downloading the Maker Faire app on site – while I saw several added cell towers added around the grounds, *texts* were taking ten minutes to get through most of the time.
