Repeat visitors to Maker Faire Bay Area will no doubt recognize Rock the Bike’s Pedal Powered Stage. An assortment of bicycles with modified hubs charge marine batteries supplying the stage with power for everything from lighting to audio. The power draw is so much that if people stop pedaling the audio will begin to drop out – so if you want to listen to music, you have to pedal! Find the Pedal Powered Stage on the south side of Maker Shed near the center of the fairgrounds, or, just follow your ears!
