Audiobody hacks together music using DIYer-friendly electronics, which they describe in how-to videos — like these cool light tubes!

How did we make our Color Changing, LED Light Tubes? In this video we show you exactly how we did it. The design is much simpler than you think. Try building one yourself and let us know how it turns out. We already have some ideas for even cooler light tubes we hope to build in the future, so stay tuned.

(For those who don’t know, Diet Coke & Mentos maestros EepyBird used Audiobody music in some of their videos!) [Thanks, Eric!]

  1. Could we possibly have a link to where we can get the tube?

  4. The TUBES are 1.5″ ID x .095″ wall, OD approximately 1.69″. We bought them in 60″ lengths then cut them to fit our needs. They are made out of Polyethlene, which is the same color as the plastic milk jugs or creamy white.
We got them at Northcore Industries http://www.northcoreind.com
