Korean designer Seungji Mun wanted cat owners to live closer alongside their furry friends, so he integrated this curving tunnel into a couch. He used commercially available pipe and built the rest of the couch from scratch.
The tunnel becomes the armrest and back support, seamlessly weaving a leisure spot for humans with an exploratory space for felines.
From Seungji’s site:
Cat tunnel sofa is designed for a cat and the owner of the cat. After analyzing and observing cats’ habits and behaviors through experts’ opinion and sufficient research, we designed the structure and shape of the sofa to be fully in harmony with.

That’s amazing! My kitty would flip over this sofa. Of course, I’m fairly certain she already thinks all my furniture is tunneling furniture…
Cat? I think it would make a great speaker channel!!
i can just see the cat puking in one of the hard to reach corners of the tube.
Well, it is made of PVC pipe – you could rinse it out (preferably outside)…
another amazing DIY couch http://www.instructables.com/id/DIY-stylish-sofa-bed/
srsly, the darn cats will explore the tubing once or twice and then forever will chill out over the cushions and or humans they could find on the couch
