Searching through the archives of Math Mondays, it appears there hasn’t been a column on that ubiquitous bit of geometrical potential, the ordinary business card. Today’s installment will begin to fill that gap, which is a significant one since there are oodles of incredible business card constructions out there.

Although there are lots of possible directions to go in the world of business card math-making, we would be remiss not to begin with the granddaddy of them all: Jeanine Mosely’s Business Card Menger Sponge.

A project nine years in the making, this tour de force involved 66,000 business cards and hundreds of folders. So this week’s installment is very short, as this project stands by itself.
