Shawn Thorsson (amazing costume and prop fabricator who was our cover story for MAKE Volume 32) will be joining us to help kick off our first Make: Believe HOA on Google+.
Join Shawn and MAKE’s Creative Director Jason Babler Thursday, Nov. 1, at 1pm PST/4pm EST to geek out about sculpting videogame characters (both big and small), and whatever else we can fit into 30 minutes.

OK, what does “HOA” mean?
HOA is Hangout on Air, Google’s term for doing a video chat with participants. We automatically upload these to our YouTube channel afterwards so everyone who couldn’t join at that time can still view our interviews.
Sigh. I will most likely be somewhere on the NJ turnpike when this is happening.
