Harford Hackerspace is now the Baltimore Hackerspace

Harford Hackerspace changed its name and on November 17th threw an open house to celebrate. They also have a sweet new logo!

Open Source and the Law at HackPittsburgh

Have you ever wondered how the law treats open source software? If you are a software developer, an open source software enthusiast, or generally interested in high-tech law, you won’t want to miss this event! On Friday, December 7th, Megan Costello, J.D., will talk about open source software from a legal perspective. Unlike traditional legal talks, Megan’s presentation promises to be engaging and technologist-friendly in a fun and relaxed environment. She will address some of the major legal issues that technologists should know about open source software.

The doors open at 7 and the talk begins at 7:30.

TravisGood, I can’t speak for John but my guess is that if you contact him with your happening news that he would gladly announce any events related to hackerspace’s that are happening or that have recently passed.
