MAKE_Conference_Badge-CESWhen we first posted about Templeman Automation’s Playsurface, the team was still looking for Kickstarter backers for their open source touch table. Since then, the Playsurface has been fully funded and they’re getting ready to ship to their supporters. They’re set up in the Eureka Park section of CES which is for companies that are looking to gain footing in the consumer electronics industry. In the video above, Len White from Playsurface’s development team gives us a full demo of the table and even opened it up to show his fellow MAKE readers what’s inside. From the tangible controller made from a CDR spindle to the Arduino inside, this has all the appropriate markings of a genuine maker project, which is remarkable to see on the floor of CES.
