Combining his MakerBot with a Raspberry Pi, New York-based maker and recent Cornell electrical engineering graduate MAKEZINE_1MonJolt_BadgeJeremy Blum crowdsourced colors for his glowing LED cap. Custom 3D-printed enclosures were used for the Pi so it would be wrist-wearable, as well as the LED dome atop the cap. While the website used to interface with his cap is now expired, the project is documented on Jeremy’s website and all the code needed to run this project can be found on GitHub.
