Upcoming Make:Audio

We're getting very close to rolling out our first Make:Audio series- this week while visiting the Make Magazine compound I interview Kyle Rankin and Derrick Story. Kyle is the author of Knoppix Hacks. We talked about what it is, where to get it, how to run, some hacks and some cool things folks are doing with it. Later- all about digital photography. Derrick has authored numerous books on digital photography- we chatted about tips to take better pictures, iPhoto 5, favorite digital cameras and what's ahead for digital photography in 2005. I hope you do something on the Podcaster's Friend, the Behringer Eurorack...

I did a little something for podcasting by phone. Perhaps not technical enough, but hey, it's got at least 12 feet of cable, that's gotta count for something.

OT: In the springtime, I want to put a solar panel on top of my garage, and use it to power one of those scrolling LED signs, and then attach the sign to a computer connected to the house Wireless LAN, and let people talk to my neighborhood from the sign on my garage.

Right now it's too damn cold to be hooking anything up to the garage!
