This isn't a new unlock code, but I wanted to post up -why- people unlock phones. "So I'm off to Thailand for 2 weeks tomorrow (more on this later). Here's the code and a post from Rojo's Kevin Burton. "I wanted to unlock my phone so that I could buy a prepaid GSM SIM chip to use my phone in Thailand for cheap. The only problem is that stupid Cingular locks the phone but you can just buy a new SIM chip".
Unlocking the Treo 650 from Cingular

hey found this information, they unlock your treo and send it back to you same day and it's cheaper than any of the other places:

i had my treo 650 Cingular unlocked by Shawn remotely. he is the guy who is unlocking Treo 650 for 30 USD. i got mine unlocked. i did my self on my own computer .followed his instruction. Great help. take my advised do not send your phone to any one. email (shawn@gearfortech.com) and let him know that you want your treo 650 unlocked.

I received a TREO 650 as a gift from a friend with the CINGULAR logo on it as it turned out it is an AT&T unit but incompatible with Cingular SIM cards. I spent 4 hours with customer service and at this point I only want to be able to use it!
Can anyone help??
