To anyone listening,
I just moved into a new house, and the old owner left behind a 10,000 BTU Friedrich AC window unit. The unit's fan is about the same decibel level as standing next to a jet engine, but it still gets pretty cold. So I thought that I'd get a couple of the guys over, crack a few beers, and see if we could convert the thing to a kegerator.
The only thing is I have seen plenty of plans for using an old fridge for this, but never an AC unit. It seems the mechanism is the same, so why not? Anybody out there ever try something like this and have a few pointers?
