Guys, is there anyway you can create a copy of the Nav system DVD. I refuse to pay 280 bucks to get the latest maps from Acura - so heres what I'm thinking. The next time I take my car in for service and get a loaner (which are generally new), somehow make a copy of its Nav DVD and pop the copy into my Nav system when I get it back. Voila, all new maps and POIs. While testing this theory on my own Nav DVD, I realized that it holds more than 6.5 GB of data, which obviously can't be burnt onto a normal 4.7 GB DVD-RW... So what now??? While forcing the software to write the data onto a DVD, it kept puking out the empty DVD saying the data is not recordable onto this type of DVD. Should mention, I have a 2004 TL, and the Nav DVD's database is from July 03. Any help would be appreciated - Jai

It's a dual-layer DVD.

$19.99 for a 3-pack at Circuit City.
If your DVD burner has dual-layer writing capabilities, then go for it!
