I think Microsoft planned on announcing this on Monday, but after reading the comments here- it looks like someone figured out that Microsoft's Virtual Earth (MS version of Google maps) is out. It has a feature called "locate me" You can install Location Finder to display your current location on a Virtual Earth map by using Wi-Fi technology. If you do not install Location Finder, or if your computer does not support Wi-Fi, Virtual Earth can attempt to find your location by using the Internet Protocol (IP) address of your computer. I hope they get around to updating the sat images. A cursory browse of my neighborhood shows we dont yet exist... even though it's been here for more than 4.5 years.
