Playaway, the world’s 1st digital audiobook bundled with a player. Simply purchase off the shelf and listen on the go, no external player needed. I'm going to crack one of these open once I spot them, I'm not really too excited about a DRM'ed locked up device that you can't get the audio content off of. If you want to listen to two books, you'll need to buy 2 devices. But, I'll give it a go. Link.

Sounds like an interesting idea, but I think devices like that will just be bad for the invironment.
I personally prefer to get my audio books on CD. I listen to them in my car anyway, so i'm not sold on that device.
I get them through simpyaudiobooks.com which I find is the most cost-effective way of getting audio books. I also used audible.com in the past, but wasn't too happy with my experience.
