This could be a handy hack if you want (or need) to add another USB port on your system- add a USB port to your mouse! I could see using this for a quick way to transfer stuff to a USB drive. I always wondered why the wireless mice don't charge via USB, that way you can have them wireless, and then charge them when needed (and still use it). Maybe I'll make one. Link.
