It certainly does seem to be the direction my Tablet PC is going. Since installing GD2 and turning on the Sidebar, I'm coming to rely it on more and more for launching recently used files, blog feeds (er, Web Clips), and news stories. GTalk is docked in there as well. I need a higher resolution monitor on my desk now (the Tablet has a 1400 x 1050 screen which is very nice) ;^)
