MAKE mobile!

Makemobile
Launch your phone/mobile browser and head over to www.winksite.com/make or go to the WINKsite home page from your desktop and (with popups not blocked) click on the "MAKE: Magazine" link on our left side bar under the "Featured Sites" area with your phone. Here are all the things you can do with MAKE from your phone!...

The MAKE mobile site now includes:

Subscribe to Make: (Mobile users can click a phone number an dial into your subscription call center. We includes both numbers the US and Canada number, the "All Other Countries" number).

  • Make Blog (Make Blog).
  • Syndicated Feeds ("O'Reilly Radar" feed is in there now, we're going to add more).
  • This channel can include unlimited feeds in unlimited user-defined categories.
  • Chat (One mobile chat room activated. Can add 8 more for a total of 9.).
  • Forum (Published some starter forum topics - General Discussion, Hardware hacks, Digital projects. D.I.Y. Inspiration, and Rants & Raves).
  • Surveys (Published some starter surveys - Are you a subscriber to Make:?, How often do you visit Make:?, How often do you use the mobile Internet? From what location today did you access this mobile site?
  • Links.
  • Site Info.
  • M-Card.
There is a custom address for Make - http://winksite.com/make

There is a script attached to that URL that sniffs the type of device coming to the URL. If the user was in fact on a desktop browser you're forwarded to http://www.makezine.com/ otherwise from a mobile device you're sent them to a version of our templates that sends them to an optimized version of your WINKsite.

Did anybody else read the title of this and think of a "make mobile" vehicle (like the weiner mobile)?Actually that would be kinda cool.
