NOTE: LEGO Factory uses standardized parts bags to create your set. Your 145 piece creation can cost MUCH more than your buddy's 145 piece creation because of this...

Wow, about 8 or 10 years ago a friend of mine pitched this very idea to Lego with the idea that we would create the software. It included building the pieces on the computer, then ordering them so you could build it physically. I guess it was just a matter of time.
