It's a case to carry your laptop (or whatever you want to carry), made from an old boombox, and wired up to play music from the computer or mp3 player that is inside...I can't seem to find one of these boomboxes ANYWHERE around here to make one for myself. So is the foam padding going to be enough to really shield the magnetic field created by the speakers?
Also, what is used to keep the laptop playing? I know that most laptops go to sleep and won't function when the lid's closed, due to overheating issues. Is there some setting you can change to not make it sleep?

It's not due to overheating issues, tis merely because thats the way it is. I've changed mine no to do that, in linux and XP
