RE: MP3 players and other uses - I was watching the new NBC show E-Ring last night and there was a situation where two Marines were stranded in Suriname. One of them starts tweaking an electronic device. He says, "ever heard of pirate radio? Mp3 players have other uses." Then he starts tapping out a communication in Morse Code. Of course, then the Embassy picks up the radio signal and get the message to find them. Anyway, thought it was cool and wanted to pass along the idea. I figured somebody at Make or one of the readers could devise a neat little radio device out of an mp3 player.
