DIY RFID-Zapper…

180Px-22C3 Mahajivana Img 0430 360X240More on the RFID zapping project “The RFID-Zapper is a gadget to deactivate (i.e. destroy) passive RFID-Tags permanently…Goals are a proof-of-concept and the construction of at least one functioning and appealing prototype, as well as a documentation of the project, so that everyone can build an own RFID-Zapper. Since the project found so much positive resonance, we probably are going to work on some other realizations of the concept, e.g. building an RFID-Zapper from scratch, without a single-use-camera.” [via] Link.

If you really want some super-sexy-hardcore USB, RJ-45, or Firewire connectors in a Military Grade check out these guys (scroll to bottom of page).

I think these USB connectors could take a bomb blast! Granted the computer will be hosed, but your connector will still be there.

Um….The top of this page talks about USB connectors and a LINK to them. I am looking for USB patchbays and FIREWIRE patchbays to have COMPLETE control over what connects to what in my studio. I’ll build it if I have to, hence my winding up here and seeing the talk about CONNECTORS, but, UMMMMMMMMMM, those links up at the top DO NOT go to anything even REMOTELY having to do with USB CONNECTORS…Little assistance please…
