What is the product actually called? I'm not getting anything under "SodaSteamer" on Google.

I think I found it under "soda maker" on Froogle. There's also something called "carbonation drops" that looks like an alternative to the dry ice mentioned in the blog's comments.

As no one else has pointed it out, it's technically not Champagne. If it is not made in the French area called Champagne, then it can only be sparkling white wine. Out of curiousity, does anyone know how real champagne gets it's bubbles?

TVarmy - real champagne is made by fermenting it a second time, in a sealed container, such as a corked wine bottle
