Ted writes "Oh yes.. yet another spinoff of the Retropod, inspired by the brilliant John Young... this walkman outfit, boost two new additions.. first, a working dual-out headphone jack, originally part of the walkman, as well as a dummy cassette tape, mounted to the door of walkman, providing even more stealth for the ipod." Link. We've seen so many people make these, I think Sony might want to consider licensing out a case design.

Aww, PT, you old smoothie, now I get to put "the brilliant John Young" on all my stationery. Anyhow, the link on my name actually goes to Flickr user Nickee, whose own ipod-in-a-bombproof-shell design is slicker than mine in that it uses the connector at the bottom, rather than the headphone out at the top. You can find my own retropod case by going to retropod dot com. Doing a Flickr search for tag "retropod" will also net you two more designs.
