MAKEbot - new features!

We're trilled to announce some new features on the MAKEbot. The MAKEbot delivers the best of MAKE all to your buddy list. MAKEbot is an Instant Message bot you can talk to and get the latest news, "pings", photos, bookmarks, projects, audio/video and more from MAKE from any computer or your phone!

Click here to add the MAKEbot to your buddy list. Then click here to get the latest news from MAKE every day (the MAKEbot will message you every 24 hours). At any time you can get the following from the MAKEbot: help, MAKE's photos on Flickr, our audio and video, forums, our bookmarks from del.icio.us, how-tos from Instructables, search all of MAKE with google, search Digg, search the web with Yahoo, and MSN.

The MAKEbot can now deliver "pings" as news happens. For example, type ping digg start, this will give you news from Digg as it happens. You can do this with any MAKEbot supported category, like latest, bb (bb is for boingboing), photos, forums, podcasts, etc.. You can also type sample to get some past sample of MAKE for free.

Lastly, type rati to see what other people are saying about MAKE around the web via Technorati.

I Am Using msn messenger 7.5 - this sounds cool but how can i make this work in messenger ?

we're going to try and have a makebot for every IM service, but for now AIM is where we're jammin'
