Amazing video of a touch screen interface - "While touch sensing is commonplace for single points of contact, multi-touch sensing enables a user to interact with a system with more than one finger at a time, as in chording and bi-manual operations. Such sensing devices are inherently also able to accommodate multiple users simultaneously, which is especially useful for larger interaction scenarios such as interactive walls and tabletops." Interesting... Apple recently filed for a patent for the same feature.
The ACM paper written by these guys is available.

Unfortunately you either need the appropriate subscriptions or to pony up $10 to buy it.
So I'm $10 poorer. :)
It's only four pages (the construction is surprisingly simple), but whilst I was able to figure out some of the techniques required before reading it, there's a few other issues and improvements I probably wouldn't have discovered easily.
I may not be able to distribute the paper, but I'll have a construction log and software available once I'm done building and coding :)
