The dude behind geobloggers has been hired by Flickr and his blog claims that there was too much overlap between work and his site. Hopefully, that means a newer version with better Flickr support is on the way.

or could be that Flickr(Yahoo) weren't too happy about one of their employees promoting a Google service, or am I just hopelessly synical ;-). I also miss geobloggers, also keeping my finger crossed.

I have put together some geotaggy goodness: geocoding photos is a page of reference info. Although geobloggers is gone (well, it turned into a blog) there are still other sites available with similar functionality.
