Coke Blak lamp

MAKE Flickr photo pool member Macphile writes - "The moment I saw the Coke Blak bottle, I knew I had to make a lamp out of it. This is my first prototype, with the power being provided by my AA Mag-Lite. Next I'll add internal power and do a prettier job light-sealing the neck of the bottle. " - Link.

an ultrawhite LED and a diffuser (personally I use a "clear" superball and drill a hole in it for the led) should give a nice effect as well, could even make the whole thing fit inside the bottle, if you cut out the bottom of the bottle.
