
I haven't tried this, but it looks like a good way to manage an iPod if you're on Linux... - "With Banshee you can easily import, manage, and play selections from your music collection. Banshee allows you to import CDs, sync your music collection to an iPod, play music directly from an iPod, create playlists with songs from your library, and create audio and MP3 CDs from subsets of your library. If you are running Ubuntu Dapper (as I am), just look up Banshee in Synaptic or use apt-get in the terminal.

i am running ubuntu dapper, and was wondering if this can be used to import music from my ipod to my system. i have a dead xp box with all my music on it w/ my only backup being a 4G ipod.
