I'm still waiting for issue 5 to arrive, and I had to contact customer services to get issue 4 (which took another month to turn up thanks to surface mail shipping). I love the magazine but the subscription is a joke. Looks like I'll just have to remember to order through Amazon UK instead - maybe it'll arrive then.

Anyone know how long it should be between this notice and receiving my issue? Volume 5 was my first and I got it a couple of weeks after subscribing. Seeing more throwies on the cover is kind of sickening. I'm not so sure I want the magazine now.

oracle, you should be getting the next issue in 3-4 weeks. throwies are one short project among many many others....

Thanks Phillip. I must admit I've never subscribed to a magazine I waited for so eagerly :). About the throwies, I'm just sick of how they're done to death on the blog.

oracle, my promise, no more throwie posts (this week)...part of it is, they're easy to make and a ton of people did...

thing is a lot of new people are reading the blog, a lot of people dont read the blog (only get the magazine) and a lot of people dont live on the web/rss like a lot of us do... but yah, throwies, ill try and not post anything unless -its- really overthetop new, etc.

thanks for the kind words about make!
