SilentG sent in another DIY rain stick - "...in the tradition of the great Juha'we shaman, build a rainstick to harness that calming power of nature, wielding it to feel empowered over our own turmoil. We built it with galvanized steel, hardened chain, and an 8 inch spike. This is our all steel version of the popular hippy device. It is an urchin of nails and chain filled with more loose nails, washers, bottle caps, and lead shot. Weighs about 10 lbs and rumbles the heavens when properly played. - Link.
