• I'll stick with the tool bag under the bike seat. The water bottle holder is much to valuable to use as a water source or for holding a good mixture of dog deterent chemicals.

• Ditto that, plus all those heavy tools can be replaced with an all-in-one tool that is smaller and weighs a lot less.

  I looked for the one I have, but could not find it. It has an adjustable spanner, 2 allens, spolk, chain breaker, sockets and a couple other doo-dads all on one handy little tool.

• very cool for a novice.. but if you ride a lot, like the other comments, you'll want to cut it down to the essentials.. I stick with only the hex wrenches i need, a very small multitool, plastic levers, a tube, and co2 all in a bottle.. pretty light, with the bonus being the tube to keep it from wrattling... there's still room to throw something else in a pinch like money, etc..

• heh.. i should also say, this is only on a bike that holds 3 bottles and no room for a bag under the seat (triathlon bike).. stick with one of those if you can..

• I've tried one of those wrenches once. It takes about 5 seconds to twist it into a pretzel. They're worse than useless. Also, I have a set of metal tire levers like that, and it's very easy to puncture a tube with them; I prefer plastic levers.
  For $20 you can get a pretty nice multitool that will fit in a lot smaller space than this. I ride 100+ miles a week with just a $10 multitool and $3 tire levers, plus a spare tube and a piece of tyvek in case the tire gets slashed. This is NOT a good deal at all.

• I got one like this years ago at Zellers with my "Club Z" points... all my friends thought it was the coolest thing. I think I still have it somewhere.

• I'm going to have to go with a thumbs down, my Serfas (typical two-part folding) tool actually cost less and takes up a fraction of the space. I still want one of the Alien tools, though.
