Looks well thought out, but what's wrong with an off switch?

I like this, i'd end up forgetting to turn the switch off before I hit the bed or back on when I wake up. Then i'd miss all of those night-time Jehovah's Witnesses.

OK, so the bell is turned off but what if they are resourceful solicitors and decide to knock since the bell doesn't work?

Interesting project. RTourn - what if you forget to turn it off.
I like what I have done to help prevent solications.... I put up a $5 sign that says "No Soliciting"
