Make Podcast: I-Wei Huang's Steambots

After interviewing I-Wei, I told him that his robots reminded me of Miyazaki's animation work and he told me that he was in fact an animator by day and steam-roboteer at night and found inspiration with Miyazaki's work.

Steam1

The walking steambot captured my imagination. I want to see one of those locomotive size walking down the street!

Steam2

I-Wei has lots of steambots. Make sure to go check them out. Which one is your favorite?

The field now is open for alterna-powered robots! Who's going to make the first bicycle powered walking robot? This is my last video about robogames for the year, but if you still haven't had enough, go watch this video about an exoskeleton robot that helps people walk over at GETV.

Wow! I'd love to see a steam robot as big as a locamotive, but walking on legs, not rollling down a track.
