Here's the first ever sensor workshop using Make Controller Kit - the intensive 4-day workshop offers a hands-on introduction to sensors, sensor interfaces and integration of software and hardware...
"Michael Shiloh, Margaret Schedel and Michael Zbyszynski will teach a workshop on how to use the Make Controller Kit to interface to a variety of sensors for musical performance, dance, video, sound, and art installations.
Students will learn electronics, how to solder, how to work with sensors, and how to use the Make Controller kit. Cycling '74's Max/MSP/Jitter programming environment will be used for manipulating music and images with the sensor data, and to create reactive environments.
In the course of the workshop participants will build a working system which they will take with them.
June 29 - July 2, 2006
Workshop Cost: $600
A $200 materials fee, due by June 19, includes the Make Controller Kit and sensors

Oh my god! This is just the workshop I have been waiting for, and yet I have unbreakable plans for the weekend. Please, please, please schedule another one, preferably on the east coast (New York in particular)! I promise I'll come.

Apologies, this isn't about the workshop -- good luck with that -- I don't know who else to mention this to at MAKE: I'm not seeing anything like support for this board on the http://makingthings.com/ site, and the namezine.com/controller page says they are supposed to be providing some. Dismaying. When will documentation and mfr support arrive? Would someone please update the makezine page to reflect current reality? Thanks! :)

I would like more details but the only link provided is a secure one requiring a password.
I also agree with mmbutler, I would feel a lot better about investing in a board if I saw more support.
