We asked Makers to post photos up of their workshops, and wow, they're great! Here are a few that just came in - if you have one, fire up the camera and post yours in the MAKE Flickr photo pool! We'll pick a few over the next couple weeks and give you something neat - Link.

I think you really have to make it a messiest workbench contest. That's really the true mark of productivity, don't you think?

Here's an interesting variation: Garages in Baltic Russia. http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/shared/spl/hi/pop_ups/06/business_murmansk0s_gorgeous_garages/html/1.stm
[These are in Murmansk (Мýрманск), per Wikipedia: "a city in the extreme northwest of Russia with a seaport on the Kola Bay, 12km from the Barents Sea on the northern shore of the Kola Peninsula, not far from Russia's borders with Norway and Finland."] Looks chilly, but the approach is oddly familiar.
