There's been only one downside to mine. It didn't come with an Airport-card when I bought it. Now I did pay only 225 euros for mine, which was with a dead battery and some major keyboard-repair... but still, it was a steal... Compared to that price, I really refused to pay something like 100-120 euros for a second-hand obsolete 11MBit Airport-card, simply because there's a scarcity for those cards as it seems.
