For those who don't get it at first (as I didn't) the reason for doing this is that the submitter's analog board (The one that controls the CRT) went kaput, and it would cost $500USD to get his $599USD eMac running again. Apply liberal mounts of Cheapo LCD, packing tape and dremel goodness, and shazam. Back up and running for less than half that price.
Just thought I'd clarify.
