Spark has new stuff up - couple worth checking out...
Basic 16x2 Character LCD FSTN - Yellow on Blue - This is a basic 16 character by 2 line display with a Blue background and a Yellow backlight. Utilizes the extremely common HD44780 parallel interface chipset (datasheet). Interface code is freely available. You will need ~11 general I/O pins to interface to this LCD screen. Includes yellow LED backlight. These modules are the thin type. - Link.
Soldering Station Variable Temperature 70W - Analog - Temperature controlled, anti-static soldering station. An excellent alternative to the Radio Shack fire-starter you are used to - at an equally excellent price! Unit includes base unit, soldering iron with tip, and stand with sponge.
