This particular link has been posted here at Makezine before (I think around April); I found this link to be very useful to help get me started with electronics and therefore I think it's definitely worth it to mention it again! :)

Nice link! As for "Electronics for Dogs," that frame from Wallace and Gromit is one of my favorites, but I'd be afraid of putting it on the Web for copyright reasons.
