If this is your first set, put a tennis ball on the end of the main stick, and it will slow everything down and help you learn to play them. you can wrap them with fabric and tape the fabric onto the stick. You can wrap the balls with tape, but it tends to make them less bouncy, and they will pack more punch when you bean your self with the stick.
