Excellent work!
I am contemplating making customized taillights for my auto and was thinking that either this circuit or your LED Flasher 2 design [http://www.interq.or.jp/japan/se-inoue/e_pic6_b.htm] would be very impressive. It would however require substantially more LEDs than the eight in the model shown.
Not being a very experienced circuit designer myself, I need to ask - Is it possible to daisy-chain more LEDs to make perhaps 96 LEDs total or would the circuit not be able to support such a modification?
I would want to use as bright an LED as is practical. I found a website selling 13000mcd 5mm White LED for $12/100. Is that a reasonable part for my plan?
