
Jason writes "I've taken a basic "Solar Attic Fan" kit that many treehugger catalogs sell, and added a charge controller, battery, and thermostat to the mix to try and squeeze more fan time out of it. The charge controller is really the only special part. The thermostat is my old house thermostat: a classic mechanical "Honeywell Round"." - Link.
