The T-Mobile MDA isn't the ideal phone (none are it seems) but I've put together a list of software, hacks, mods and resources to make it a pretty good laptop alternative for folks who are mobile and need a beefy phone, figured this would be useful for someone - the list includes... New ROM (more stable), uplocking application (195 MHz to 260 MHz, and switches on/off for sleep), app closer, hack for one handed operation, Virtual Earth Mobile, SSH client, Skype, IRC, FTP, MoveableType publisher, RSS reader and podcast fetcher, registry app and tweaks and the start of getting Linux to run on it. Oh, all these apps are free and / or open source - Link.

Sure, area code is 206, just like mine in Seattle. But Phil doesn't live in Seattle anymore...
