Handy bootable CD if you fix/restore old computers -
"You need the Ultimate Boot CD if you want to:
- Run floppy-based diagnostic tools from CDROM drives.
- Free yourself from the slow loading speed of the floppy drive.
- Consolidate as many diagnostic tools as possible into one bootable CD.
When you boot up from the CD, a text-based menu will be displayed, and you will be able to select the tool you want to run. The selected tool actually boots off a virtual floppy disk created in memory. " [via] - Link.

it has enough, its saved my a$$ _countless_ times . . . hell just testdisk on its own has solved so many problems windows has had where it obliterated my partition table. Perhaps not best of breed, but still definitely worth a download just to be prepared.

Hirem's Boot CD is about the only one that's more "Ultimate" and consistantly updated, but it's a pain to get a copy of.

You can make something like that with a modified SuperGRUB disk and a few utility CDs. You can even dual-boot liveCDs from one CD.
