Kevin Norton had a lot of little crystal sets there, including one that looked like a cathedral radio (you can see a picture of it in the photos I posted).
Until I saw his exhibit, I didn’t know you could use crystal sets to listen to our planet; the sign on one of the sets said it was appropriate for listening to thunderstorms as far away as South America. I think I even saw something about other geophysical stuff on one of the sets (I could swear it said something about earthquakes… I should have snapped a photo, but the mousetrap distracted me).
