I made similar thing just to see what effect this is going to give. Ok, this is interesting, I have a very narrow spot light effect.

This is kinda cool, but is this really what Grid Spot is supposed to do?

I know it's an old article, but it's not that hard to look up what it's supposed to do. I think it should have been in the story.
I've found articles for better DIY versions of the same AND explanations on what it's supposed to do. I think it might be a better way to make a spot flash without a long "snoot".
