C & H is a personal favorite of mine. A lot of the equipment in there seems like it's right out of JPL or CalTech. Cool old Instruments that belong in a mad scientist's basement lab, or in your workshop.

I would be quite grateful if anyone had some kind of store like that for Portland, OR.

Also, I'm sure everyone knows C&H is a brand of sugar. Sugar cane only, the California and Hawaii sugar company :)

Pasedena Closed / Duarte location open! 626 256 7907

C and H had a GreAT Catalogue for motors (especially the way they organized them by rpms etc.) and pneumatics.
They seemed to have a slightly different set of stock compared to the other surplus places.

They KEEP CHANGING their Web Address though (which drives me CRAZY trying to keep my links-page up to date At All!
(someone please smack them in the head (gentLY and friendly-like) for me since i'm on the opposite coast)

Their address This Week (sept.2009) is..

now located at:
805 Highland Ave
Duarte, California 91010
626-256-7907
